How to Recruit Hilda in Unicorn Overlord

Odds are, Hilda will end up being your first unique wyvern character in Unicorn Overlord, but it is quite possible to miss this recruit. Here’s how to get her on your side. 

How do I recruit Hilda in Unicorn Overlord?

You only first hear about Hilda once you get to Drakenhold in Unicorn Overlord. Upon recruiting Primm, she’ll make mention of a sister named Hilda who is with Zenoira. That’s your first hint that she’s needed to get this new ally, so make sure you save her during “The General in Black” Main mission you’ll encounter after entering this region.

The quest you’re looking for is “The Champion of Order,” which shows up after liberating the first Walled City in Drakenhold. Hilda will be one of the bosses on this map. What you need to do to start the process is make sure a unit with Primm in it successfully and safely reaches Hilda. You need to select the “Talk” command, to ensure the sisters reunite.

Now, at this point, the conversation will go differently than some other in-battle conversations and recruitment processes. After the conversation ends, continue the battle as normal and take over all of the enemy holdings to win the map.

When the post-battle conversations finish, then you finally can get your chance to recruit Hilda in Unicorn Overlord. Primm will mention that Hilda is now sitting on the Overworld map. Head over to her and speak with her. Now you’ll finally get the option to add her to the Liberation Army.

Hilda is a level 15 Wyvern Knight. You’ll need to pick up some extra items for her, as she only comes equipped with an Iron Spear.
