Each week, a different sort of story with new characters will appear. Each one naturally promotes the new type of sauce. (It has chili, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce in it.) The first episode involves Mitero and Hashirune racing to get to McDonald’s to get the nuggets and the new sauce first.

Here’s the first episode in Japanese with subs:

And here is the English dub:

As for the manga, people need to scan the QR code on the bag of McDonald’s food to get access to each of the weekly manga chapters. The first is available now, with the second arriving on March 4, 2024.

In case the studio’s name sounds familiar, it is because Studio Pierrot has been making anime since 1980. In addition to the new McDonald’s WcDonald’s anime shorts, it worked on major adaptations like Black Clover, Bleach, Blue Dragon, Hikaru no Go, Naruto, Boruto, Saiyuki, Sanrio Boys, Tokyo Ghoul, Urusei Yatsura, and Yu Yu Hakusho. It also worked on Bleach, Naruto, and Yu Yu Hakusho game cutscenes.

The second McDonald’s episode and chapter will appear on March 4, 2024. The third follows on March 11, 2024. Things wrap up on March 18, 2024, as that’s when the final anime episode and manga chapter appear.
