Tifa Lockhart is the nimble fist fighter in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and she returns from the previous game with a penchant for staggering enemies. Maximize your utility with the brawler using our best Tifa build in FFVII Rebirth, which helped us beat the game.
Recommended Weapons for Tifa
The first part of creating any new build for a character is to focus on the weapon they use. This is by far the most important part because of the stats and weapon ability it has. However, the ability is less important since you can unlock it permanently for use outside of that weapon. The first weapon we recommend is the Leather Gloves. This is purely because of their strong physical attack stat and their Divekick ability.
That said, the one downside of these early gloves is the lack of materia slots. So, our other recommendation is the Jarngreipr. This one has a great selection of materia slots, plus a still high Attack stat and decent True Strike weapon ability. I also recommend getting the Reverse Gale ability from the Sylph Gloves for aerial combos.
Recommended Equipment and Materia for Tifa in FFVII Rebirth
Tifa is going to be one of your core fighters who should focus, for the most part, not on magic in FFVII Rebirth. As such, I worry less about equipping a ton of materia on her. Here are the other equipment and materia you should use:
- Armor: Cetran Bangle or Armlet (if you want more materia)
- Accessory: Supernatural Wristguards (for more strength), Hermes Shoes (for haste), or Speed Demon Keychain
- Materia: Chakra, Healing, one or two of the four elements (Fire, Wind, Lightning, or Ice), Subversion, Empowerment, Assess (if you use her a lot), HP Up, and maybe Steal
- Summon: Any (personal preference)
- Weapon Skills Materia: Limit Break Damage and Critical Hit Rate x2 or Limit Break Damage, Utterly Unbridled Strength, and Weapon Ability Damage
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available right now exclusively for PS5.
