The trailer begins with Doraemon informing Nobita (also known as Noby) that a new Japanese confectionery store focusing on Dorayaki has opened in the town’s vicinity. However, the old man who runs the shop gets injured due to an accident. Doraemon and Nobita ultimately decided to help the owner produce and sell the snacks with the reward of getting free Dorayaki for themselves.

The business simulation game will task the player to purchase ingredients, produce the snacks in accordance with the recipes, and place them in the store to sell. It will also feature Doraemon’s gadgets like the Anywhere Door. In addition, the trailer also revealed that characters from other titles Fujiko F. Fujio had worked on, such as Perman, Pajamaman, and 21 Emon, will appear to purchase the snacks. Characters who have appeared will be registered in the game’s encyclopedia.

The new game trailer for Doraemon’s Dorayaki Story is available to watch via Kairosoft’s YouTube channel:

Kairosoft first revealed Doraemon’s Dorayaki Story in October 2023. It is producing the game to help celebrate the 90th anniversary of Hiroshi “Fujiko F. Fujio” Fujimoto. The Japanese manga artist was born on December 1, 1933, and died in 1996.

Doraemon’s Dorayaki Story will be available for consoles and mobile devices in 2024 in Japan.
