Bandai Namco released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Goku’s Next Journey DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The add-on is set to launch sometime in February 2024, but the developer has yet to reveal an exact date for it.
The trailer features a sparring match between Goku, sporting a blue outfit rather than his signature orange, and his son Goten. The father and son banter back and forth as they fight, before showcasing a new Surge activation animation and the match eventually ending with a clash of kamehameha beams.
While the exact contents of the DLC pack have not been listed, if it follows the pattern of previous DLCs then Goku’s Next Journey should consist of new super attacks and soul emblems on top of the additional story arc to play through.

The Goku’s Next Journey DLC was originally revealed back in January, 2024, at the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour event. Meanwhile, back in December, Bandai Namco ended service for the Dragon Ball Card Warriors feature of the game on some platforms, including PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The Goku’s Next Journey DLC is scheduled for release in February, 2024.
