Where Is Yuko in Persona 3 Reload?

Yuko Nishiwaki is one of those Persona 3 Reload social links that takes a bit to unlock, then seems like is never around! I noticed whenever I had time, I never seemed to be able to find her to spend time together. Here’s how to kick off that Strength social link and find her in Persona 3 Reload.

How do I unlock the Yuko (Strength) social link in Persona 3 Reload?

Well, first you have to wait until April 23rd in-game. That’s when you’ll be tasked with joining the track team in Persona 3 Reload. That kicks off the Kazushi Miyamoto (Chariot) social link.

From there, you need to level up his social link to Rank 3 by speaking to him when you get a chance and he’s in the back of your classroom after school. (He’ll also text you sometimes when he’s free!) He will be at the back of the class on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, so it is really easy to build this up quickly.

You’ll first meet Yuko, who is the track team’s manager, after you first join the team. You can ask her to walk home. Say yes. She’ll then deny your request. However, once that social link with Kazushi hits three, you’ll get a similar after school scene with her that involves asking her to walk home, and she’ll then say yes. That kicks off her social link.

Where is Yuko in Persona 3 Reload once the Strength social link is unlocked?

Here’s where you might be having the issue. Yuko is only free two days of the week, because the other days she’s involved working with the track team as their manager. So she will only have time to hang out with you on Wednesday and Saturday. 

When she is free, you also won’t find her in your classroom like you can Kazushi. You need to exit your classroom and head outside to the hallway. Walk all the way to the corner at the edge of the stairs. If you do, then she’ll be standing there waiting if it is a Wednesday or Saturday. Also, like Kazushi and other social links, she may text you when she is free. 

Why should I get to know Yuko?

Well, there are three reasons to befriend her! First, another social link is gated behind her. You can only start The Tower social link, which involves the drunk monk Mutatsu at Club Escapade at Paulownia Mall, once you get your relationship with Yuko to Rank 4. 

Second, Yuko is a romance option in Persona 3 Reload. So if you’re trying to help your character date all the girls, you need to get to know her.

Finally, maxing out her social link nets you the ability to fuse the ultimate Strength Persona Atavaka. You also get the Kids’ Letter key item to signify your bond.
