HoYoverse released a new character trailer for the upcoming Genshin Impact character Gaming. The company also announced that he will be voice in English by Caleb Yun and by Shohei Komatsu in Japanese.
Gaming will be a Pyro character that wields a claymore, and his playstyle will emphasize plunging attacks. He is set to become available in the game alongside Xianyun in version 4.4 of Genshin Impact. As well as showing off his attacks, the trailer also details his job as a guard for the Sword and Strongbox transport service. After that, it shows how he performs as part of a Wushou troupe.
Gaming’s English voice actor Caleb Yun is also known for voicing the male protagonist of HoYoverse’s Honkai: Star Rail, as well as Hathaway Noa in Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway. Meanwhile, his Japanese counterpart Shohei Komatsu has previously performed as Cappy in Super Mario Odyssey and Land in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.

Xianyun, who will appear on banner with Gaming, recently appeared in a character trailer focusing on her past too. HoYoverse also teased the character Chiori, who is expected to arrive sometime during update 4.5.
Gaming will become available to roll for in Genshin Impact with the arrival of update 4.4 on January 31, 2024. The game itself is readily available on the PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices.
