Palworld Update Roadmap Includes PvP, Crossplay, and Raid Bosses

Pocketpair released a Palworld update roadmap on social media that covers upcoming fixes, features, and additions like crossplay and PvP. However, it only notes what things are coming and doesn’t offer any release windows for the patches.

The updates are divided into three areas, which are new content, immediate improvements, and critical issues. The critical issues involve bugs and problems that affect people being able to play the game. So the loading screen not going away and world date rollbacks are the priority for Pocketpair to fix. The other “ASAP” fixes will involve Pal AI and key configurations.

There are eight items listed under future update. These appear in a list and there’s no sense of when things could appear or what priorities are, with PvP and Raid Bosses at the top of the Palworld new features list and crossplay further down it. Here’s the exact list as presented in the roadmap:

  • PvP
  • Raid Bosses (End-Game Content)
  • Pal Arena (PvP for Pals)
  • Steam-Xbox Crossplay
  • Various Xbox Feature Improvements
  • Server Transfers and Migrations
  • Improvements to the Building System
  • New Islands, Pals, Bosses, and Technologies

Also, as usual, there’s an update from Pocketpair on the Palworld popularity and sales progress. The current sales figure status is seven million copies. That happened in a single week.

Also, SteamDB noted that the Palworld concurrent player count on Steam hit a new milestone. The new all-time peak is 2,018,905. One of the last recorded highs was 1,853,216.

Palworld is available on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via early access.
