Yen Press Picks Up Sword Art Online: Kiss & Fly and Other Manga

Yen Press announced its first batch of new manga, light novel, and art book announcements, and among them is Sword Art Online: Kiss & Fly. This is a manga of side-stories set during the series.

The name might sound familiar. That’s because this is based on Sword Art Online 22. That light novel consisted of four short stories following different characters. The two primary ones involved one with Kirito and Asuna after they just get married and Asuna after she heads into ALfheim Online.

For people who don’t want to wait, Yen Press did already release the light novel that included these stories outside of Japan. That appeared in English back in June 2021

As for all of the January 2024 Yen Press manga, art book, and light novel announcements, here’s what people can expect to see from the company this year.

  • Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra by Fehu Kazuno and Yasaiko Midorihana(Manga)
  • Demons’ Crest by Reki Kawahara (Light Novel)
  • Penguin Highway by Tomihiko Morimi and Keito Yano (Manga)
  • Senpai, This Can’t Be Love! by Shinta Harekawa(Manga)
  • A Sinner of the Deep Sea by Akihito Tomi (Manga)
  • Sister and Giant: A Young Lady Is Reborn in Another World by Be-con (Manga)
  • Sword Art Online: Kiss & Fly by Reki Kawahara, Rico Bekko, and abec(Manga)
  • This Monster Wants to Eat Me by Sai Naekawa (Manga)
  • Visions 2023__Illustrators Book by Various Artists and compiled by Pixiv (Art Book)

There is no worldwide release window yet for Sword Art Online: Kiss & Fly or the other Yen Press acquisitions.
