Here are the Best Light Cones and Relics for Xueyi in Honkai: Star Rail

When choosing Relics and Light Cones for Xueyi in Honkai: Star Rail, you should make sure that she has a good amount of Break Effect on her to take advantage of her kit. Because of this, she stands out among the other DPS characters so far in the game.

How does Xueyi work in Honkai: Star Rail?

Xueyi’s kit revolves around her Karmic Perpetuation follow-up attack. Whenever she or an ally reduces an enemy’s Toughness, she gains a stack. Once she reaches the maximum amount of stacks, she’ll launch a follow-up attack. This attack will hit an enemy multiple times for a percentage of her ATK.

She can also reduce enemy Toughness with her Ultimate, even if the enemy does not have a Quantum Weakness. Instead of building her for pure Quantum DMG like you would Qingque or Seele, you should also keep the Break Effect stat in mind. This is because quite a bit of her kit relies on it, including one of her Traces.

  • On the Fall of an Aeon
This is a good 5-star Light Cone for Xueyi because it increases her ATK every time she attacks, as well as increases her DMG upon inflicting a Weakness Break. Another advantage is that, as a 5-star Light Cone, it provides an amazing boost to her stats. The final best thing about this Light Cone is that it’s essentially free, as it’s an award you can get from the Herta Store.
  • Under the Blue Sky
This Light Cone passively increases Xueyi’s ATK, as well as increases her Crit Rate for three turns every time she defeats an enemy. Since she can deal damage and potentially kill enemies even when it’s not her turn, this is a pretty useful ability. Under the Blue Sky works best on a Xueyi, who is being used as the main DPS of her team.
  • The Moles Welcome You
This is a really good generic Light Cone for most Destruction characters because of its useful ability. Whenever the wearer uses a Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate to attack an enemy, the wearer gains a stack of Mischievous, which increases ATK. Using this and then enjoying a buffed follow-up attack is a good way to use Xueyi in combat.
  • Nowhere to Run
The effect of Nowhere to Run is very similar to Under the Blue Sky. However, defeating an enemy restores HP instead. It does have a higher ATK boost even at S1, so you can think of it as a stat stick of sorts. Nowhere to Run is only available if you bought Nameless Glory, so it’s not F2P-friendly. Conversely, because it’s in Nameless Glory, you don’t have to rely on the RNG of the gacha to get it.
  • A Secret Vow
This is a good Light Cone for Destruction characters so long as you can manage the HP requirement. It naturally boosts the wearer’s DMG by 20%, but the wearer can deal an additional 20% if their HP is equal to or lower than the enemy’s. Even if you ignore the extra 20%, this is a pretty good way to boost Xueyi’s ATK and DPS potential.

Here are the Best Relic Sets for Xueyi in Honkai: Star Rail

When you are choosing Relics for Xueyi, you want to prioritize her Crit stats, Quantum DMG, and Break Effect. You can also unlock a Trace, Clairvoyant Loom, that will help her deal more damage based on her Break Effect. Since Talia is a really good Planar Ornament Set for her, you’ll want to have at least 145 SPD. So you should also prioritize giving her some good SPD Relics.

  • 4-pc Genius of Brilliant Stars
Quantum DPS characters generally speaking want Genius. Not only does it help increase how much Quantum DMG she deals, but it also allows her to ignore up to 20% of the enemy’s DEF.
  • 4-pc Thief of Shooting Meteor
Unless you Salvaged them all, you should have a good stockpile of Thief Relics since they’re drops from Echoes of War and Stagnant Shadows. A full set of Thief Relics increases Xueyi’s Break Effect, as well as helps her to restore Energy whenever she Breaks a Weakness. Her Ultimate is a nice way to get stacks back, since she can reduce Toughness even if the enemy doesn’t have a Quantum Weakness.
  • 2-pc Genius of Brilliant Stars, 2-pc The Ashblazing Grand Duke
This is a combination set that you can use to take advantage of Xueyi’s follow-up attack. You can also consider a full set of the Grand Duke. By default, Xueyi needs 8 stacks to use her follow-up attack, which gives her plenty of time to enjoy the ATK boost that the full set provides.
  • Talia: Kingdom of Banditry
This is the best Planar Ornament Set for Xueyi as of Version 1.6. So long as you have a minimum of 145 SPD, it can greatly increase her Break Effect. Even if you haven’t reached that threshold, it provides a nice 16% bonus.
  • Space Sealing Station
This is a good Planar Ornament Set for boosting Xueyi’s ATK. Like Talia, you need a minimum SPD threshold to enjoy an additional boost. In Space Sealing Station’s case, you only need 120 SPD.
  • Inert Salsotto
This is also a good Planar Ornament Set but specifically focusing on Xueyi’s follow-up attack. It also helps to increase her Crit Rate, which is something that you’ll want on her anyway. Unlike Talia and Space Sealing Station though, Salsotto will not do anything unless you have a minimum of 50% Crit Rate.

Honkai: Star Rail is available on PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. You always have the chance to get Xueyi in Honkai: Star Rail, as she is a 4-star character.
