How to Unlock The Navel in FFXIV

Like The Bowl of Embers, players will unlock The Navel through Main Scenario Quest progression. Once you’ve accepted the quest “Lord of Crags,” you will gain access to The Navel. And just like the fight against Ifrit, you will see your mettle tested against the second of many Trials FFXIV has to offer.

The requirements needed to enter The Navel are as follows:

  • Level 34.
  • Accept the quest “Lord of Crags.”

Players can choose to go with a host of NPCs or with actual players when looking to complete this Trial. The Navel has some unique mechanics similar to The Bowl of Embers, but won’t see you burning down an Infernal Nail. Instead, you must ensure you are not punched off the platform or fall to your death when Titan shrinks the arena.

Additionally, he will encase one party member into a gaol, which will need to be destroyed before the timer on it runs out. If the timer runs out, the person inside will die. Thankfully, they can be resurrected, unlike players that fall from the arena.

After completing The Navel, it will now appear in Leveling and Trial Roulettes.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
