How to Evolve Scyther into Kleavor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Can you evolve Kleavor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

To evolve Scyther into Kleavor, you need to use the Black Augurite evolution item on the Kanto Pokemon. Unfortunately, Black Augurite was not included in the Indigo Disk DLC. This means you can’t actually evolve Scyther into Kleavor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

So, if you want to complete your Blueberry Pokedex, you need to catch Kleavor in the wild to add its entry. Thankfully, the Pokemon Legends Arceus evolution is pretty easy to find, as it has a set spawn rate in the Indigo Disk DLC, which I will explain below.

Where to find Kleavor in Pokemon Indigo Disk

Kleavor is located in the Canyon Biome in the Pokemon Indigo Disk DLC. Once you have arrived at the Blueberry Academy, travel to the southeast corner of the Terarium. Kleavor can be found specifically in a raised mountain in the rocky canyons.

Below is a map showing the exact location of Kleavor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:

Once you arrive in the Canyon Biome in the Terarium, use Koraidon or Miraidon to climb or fly to the top of the mountain location shown in the map image above. You can find Kleavor walking around in the overworld at level 70.

Only time will tell whether Game Freak will eventually add in Black Augurite to the Gen 9 RPGs. But for now, you can not evolve Scyther into Kleavor in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Thankfully, you can easily find spawns of Kleavor in the Indigo Disk DLC. There are even Mass Outbreaks of the Legends Pokemon that allow you to Shiny hunt it!

The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Indigo Disk DLC is now available on the Nintendo Switch.
