While Palia is an online game, you might be asking yourself the burning question, “Does the game autosave?” This guide explains how auto-save in Palia works.
Does Palia Autosave, and how can you check if so?
Yes, Palia does autosave. This is because of the online nature of the game and the fact that everything is stored server-side. So you don’t need to worry about losing progress. However, if you are playing the Nintendo Switch version of the game, it is advised that you link your Palia account.
You do not need to link your Palia account to your Nintendo account, as the process itself is relatively simple. To make sure you won’t lose any data if you do choose to uninstall the game for whatever reason on the Nintendo Switch, we’ve outlined how to link your account below.
How to link your Palia account
First, you will need to create a Palia account. This can be done here. After registering an e-mail address, you will want to connect your Palia account to that e-mail address on the Nintendo Switch. If you already have a Palia account, just log-in with the associated email, and it will automatically connect.
However, if you have created an e-mail and logged into the game without linking your account, just head to the menu screen to link your account and have your progress saved across devices. Any progress you’ve made on PC or Switch will be transferrable to either platform. And your data will always be associated with this specific account.
Palia is available for PC and Nintendo Switch.
