Palia is all about collaboration, and that means visiting the plots of friends to help them craft, cook, and build. Thankfully, doing so is easy, so you can get to working together pretty easily! You can read about how to visit other plots in Palia below.
How do I visit other plots, including my friends’ homes in Palia?
Once you have unlocked your plot, which is done by completing the tutorial since everyone gets a home in Palia, you can immediately visit other plots. This includes the plot of anyone on your friend list so you can see what they’ve been up to and how they’ve been decorating. This feature is extremely important in terms of collaborative cooking, which is a great way to make Gold and to level up your cooking skill.
In order to visit other plots, you will need to head to the entrance of your own plot, which is designated by a patch of fence and a big gate with a horseshoe over it. Interact with the blue sign just right of it to visit other plots. You can visit the plots of party members or friends only, so keep that in mind. Additionally, you can only visit a plot when the owner of the plot is present. This means that you can’t traipse around without them when they are offline or visiting another map.
Outside of this, you can also donate materials to anything a friend may be building on their plot. This includes the construction of their first home, porches, fireplaces, and so on. So if you’ve been playing Palia for awhile and have an excess of crafting materials, you can lend a hand to a friend in need. It’s all about collaboration, and all of the games features and functions reflect this.
Palia is available for the PC. It will release for the Nintendo Switch on December 14, 2023.
