How do I get Sand Claws in Lego Fortnite?

Sand Claws, like Wolf Claws, are dropped by wolves, but specifically only the brown-furred ones that spawn in sandy biomes at night. These wolves are a little tougher than their black-furred counterparts, so you’ll ideally want to bring food, tier 2 (knotwood) weapons, and any villagers you’ve befriended to help take them down.

To find them, you’ll need to locate a sandy biome like a desert or even a shoreline. Unfortunately, the randomly generated nature of worlds in Lego Fortnite means they spawn anywhere, so your best bet is to just head out in a direction and look for a change in trees and enemies. Once you’ve found a sufficiently sandy biome, you’ll need to wait for nightfall, though I found you can sometimes find a wolf or two wandering around in the day. Watch out for hordes of skeletons that also spawn at night, as they can overwhelm you if you aren’t careful. Though with a bit of luck, you can incite them to attack the wolves instead, too!

So that’s how to find Sand Claws in Lego Fortnite. If you find yourself struggling to take down the orange wolves, check out our guides on how to increase your health, or turn feathers into arrows to attack from a safer range.

LEGO Fortnite is immediately available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices.
