We previously got some details on the story and setting of 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, and 4Gamer shares another look at Sega’s upcoming 3DS title with a look at some classes and their color varieties.
Samurai:
The Samurai class is well-balanced in both offense and defense, and they make for party members that can be relied upon to provide their expertise on the battlefield with high attack speed.
The Samurai class have access to various non-elemental close-ranged attacks, that will always come in handy for most situations.
Agent:
Agents attack by dual-wielding pistols and with their expertise in hacking. They have all kinds of different shooting skills, can hide and surprise-attack enemies from close-range, and also do various status ailment attacks with their hacking abilities.
In addition to also having the ability to get enemies with traps, their hacking skills can do different status effects to all the enemies. They also have skills like the “Air Assault,” which is used to shoot down all enemies with their pistols.
God Hand:
God Hands are martial artists that mastered medicine. They use their two hands to destroy enemies and also heal allies—thus the name “God Hand.” By pulling off skills, they add stacks to their “God Depth,” which allows them to do even more powerful skills.
In addition to being able to provide heals and buffs to allies, the God Hand class have access to powerful close-ranged attacks, and a counter skill that activates at the end of the turn if they take damage.
Duelist:
Duelists might not have the ability to “Mind Crush” their enemies, but they can use mana to bring things like traps and monsters out of their cards, which is almost just as cool. They’re a strategic class that revolves around pulling out the best cards from their decks.
By using three “Fire Cards,” Duelists can summon the “Fire Dragon,” which can destroy enemies with fire attacks and an added burn effect. The “Judgment Turn” skill activates when all three trap skills are set, which results in massive magic damage to all enemies at the end of the turn.
7th Dragon III Code: VFD will release in Japan on October 15, 2015 for Nintendo 3DS.
