5pb, Red Entertainment Mascots Join Hyperdimension Neptunia On Dec. 22

Compile Heart has a massive update planned for Hyperdimension Neptunia. It starts with a system update on December 1 that adds a radio system to the PlayStation 3 game. 5pb is a radio personality and she has her own show in the game called Fi-radi (a portmanteau of "5" and "radio") that runs after players complete quests.

On December 22, Red and 5pb will join the fight against Arfore as downloadable content. Both characters have new storylines see too. Compile Heart also has new quests with ridiculously powerful bosses to complete and costumes for Neptune, IF, and Compa. While the system update is free, Compile Heart did not announce prices for the DLC, if any, at this time.

NIS America is localizing Hyperdimension Neptunia for the West. It’s unclear if their version will include these characters, as well as other downloadable characters, on disc or not.
