5 Fallout Staples We Need to See in a Fortnite Crossover

The potential Fallout crossover teased for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has us buzzing with excitement. Several iconic elements from the Bethesda series could make this collaboration unforgettable. There are many ways to incorporate ideas from Fallout into this crossover. Whether through new skins, game mechanics, or unique events, these are five Fallout things we want to see in Fortnite.

Fallout Power Armor in Fortnite

Power Armor is one of the most recognizable and iconic features of the Fallout series. Imagine donning a set of T-51b Power Armor, as a new skin or special in-game item, that enhanced abilities. Given the teaser image for this collab, it’s likely this will be on their list too.

VATS Integration in Fortnite

The Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System (VATS) is a signature gameplay mechanic in Fallout, allowing players to slow down time and target specific enemy body parts. Now a mechanic like VATS in Fortnite could be tricky, but finding some way to incorporate it could be fun for Fallout fans. Even as an Easter egg or sound effect, it’d be great to see.

Fallout Nukes!

Fallout is infamous for its post-apocalyptic setting, and nothing says Fallout more than the threat of a nuclear explosion. Be these Mini-Nukes or larger ones like in Fallout 76, I say bring them all and let’s bring the Wasteland to Fortnite.

Fallout Super Mutants in Fortnite

Super Mutants are formidable foes in the Fallout universe, and their inclusion in Fortnite could add new challenges. These hulking enemies could be AI-controlled adversaries during special events or appear as part of a unique game mode. This would not only bring a piece of Fallout lore into Fortnite, but could also just be a fun gameplay addition as well.

Don’t forget Dogmeat

No Fallout crossover would be complete without Dogmeat, the beloved canine companion. In Fortnite, Dogmeat could be introduced as a pet that accompanies players, providing support. He could also be incorporated as a one-time use type item or support character. Or maybe he’s a full playable character? The sky is the limit!

The potential Fortnite and Fallout crossover has plenty of possibilities that can excite fans of both franchises. Incorporating iconic elements like Power Armor and Super Mutants could capture the essence of Fallout while fitting into the Fortnite mold.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 is coming to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and mobile devices.
