What story update can we expect in Genshin Impact 5.1?

Starting off, we will have new story content centering on Mavuika, the Fire Archon, Xilonen, and Capitano of the Fatui. This will involve a whole new Archon Quest that continues the story for Chapter 5, which is “Incandescent Ode of Resurrection.” It involves the next stages of both Mavuika’s plans and what Capitano intends to do in Natlan.

The trailer showcases Xilonen’s moveset, which involves sound waves and rollerskate dancing. There’s a peek at a brand new boss enemy, which is called the Secret Source Constructor. It is a stone machine with Electro attacks and many different forms, including a cannon and a claw.

Which characters will we see on Genshin Impact 5.1 banners?

As usual, the banners will be split into two parts. The first half of the update will feature the first two on October 9, 2024. One of the two characters available will be Xilonen, the brand new 5-star character, and the other will mark the return of Chiori.

Xilonen is a smith who forges everything from jewelry to weapons. She is a Geo Sword unit. Her special movement abilities allow her to essentially roller skate up and across walls. Her Sampler ability samples the elements of other units in the party to decrease enemies’ resistance to those elements. In addition, if Xilonen’s Sampler includes two elements other than Geo, her elemental burst will heal the active character. The Secret Source Constructor boss will also drop the materials needed to upgrade Xilonen.
