An incredibly elaborate PlayStation 5 has been revealed even before the system’s official launch date and pre-orders have been announced. Truly Exquisite confirmed it will offer a 24K gold PS5 and accessories. It will be a part of what is being called the “Luxury Bespoke Sony PS5 Collection.” [Thanks, Resetera!]
At the moment, this is just a preliminary announcement. The company has created artistic mock-ups of how the 24K gold-plated PS5, DualSense, and wireless headset. You can see the mock-ups for all of them below.
The company also confirmed some of the other designs it will offer. If people aren’t interested in gold, there will be an 18K rose gold option and a platinum model. Each one will be a custom model and not an official Sony product, as a reminder.
The expected prices or release windows for the Platinum, 18K rose gold, and 24K gold PS5 models and accessories haven’t been announced yet. At the moment, the company is suggesting people sign up to be alerted when more information is available.
The PlayStation 5 is expected to release ahead of the 2020 holiday season. Sony hasn’t confirmed any dates yet, but it did confirm that it will provide advance notice before pre-orders for the system open up.
