Mario Kart Tour has taken people to a whole new region with its Tokyo Tour event. While initially, the event only suggested a new Tokyo-inspired course, some returning tracks, and standard character and kart additions, it turns out a wealth of new Drivers, Karts, and Gliders have appeared. On top of that, Super Mario Kart’s Rainbow Road, Mario Kart 64’s Kalimari Desert, and Mario Kart 7’s Neo Bowser City all join the new Tokyo Blur.

The new characters consist of two themed racers and returning favorites. Mario dons a hakama and Peach a kimono in honor of the Tokyo Blur course, as two new variants. Bowser Jr. and the seven Koopalings have all been added. Both the normal and baby versions of Rosalina joined the roster. Plus, people can also acquire Lakitu and Wario. 13 new Karts and nine new gliders are also available, with the Kabuki Dasher and Quickshaw Karts being the Tokyo-inspired ones.

Here is the Mario Kart Tour Tokyo Tour trailer, which shows off the new racers and courses.

Mario Kart Tour is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. The official Twitter account noted that this Tokyo Tour event will end on October 22, 2019.
