Ittle Dew 2 Delisted On The Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, And Xbox One

The console versions of Ittle Dew 2 are no longer available to purchase digitally from the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store. Ludosity CEO Joel Nystrom brought up the delisting on Twitter and noted that Nicalis, the publisher for those versions of the game, delisted it after the developer cancelled the company’s license to publish. Since the developer self-published it on PCs, it is still available through Steam. Also, the Nintendo Switch version received a physical release.

Here is the statement Nystrom made on Twitter, regarding the Ittle Dew 2 Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One delistings.

Can definitely confirm that Nicalis is a piece of shit publisher – after being surprised to find out (by looking in their email inbox) that we cancelled their license to publish 6 months ago, they first agreed to transfer the games over to us.

 

Well after the usual ghosting for a few weeks I today wake up to find that they just couldn’t be bothered, and just delisted Ittle Dew 2 from all console store fronts.

 

Another promise to us they just straight up broke – and a shitty move for the customers.

 

Now I’m gonna see if I can get them de-delisted or if I have to re-publish.

Ittle Dew 2 is a The Legend of Zelda-like game that follows Ittle and her partner, Tippsie, as they find themselves on an island with seven dungeons that can be completed in any order. It eventually received an update that added five more dungeons, which contain collectible cards, and an optional easy difficulty level.

Ittle Dew 2 is immediately available digitally on PCs and physically on the Nintendo Switch.
