It feels only appropriate that a game about a struggling Imperial Theatre crew gets a stage play of its own, and today at TGS 2019 Sega confirmed that this will be the case.
The role of Sakura Amamiya will be played by Yuuna Sekine.
Apart from the stage play announcement, composer Kouhei Tanaka was present to talk about the game’s music.
The special edition of Project Sakura Wars will come with music from all six games, and the tracklist for this latest game was shown off. These include group songs, character songs, and strangely enough (?) antagonist Yasha is shown to have a song of her own. I wonder who that mysterious Yasha fellow is?

The music video shows off many scenes not revealed for the game yet, including a fight scene between Elise of the Berlin Combat Revue and Sakura, as well as what seems to be a mid-season upgrade for Sakura:
Project Sakura Wars releases in Japan on December 12, 2019 for PlayStation 4. The game will release in North America and Europe in Spring 2020.
