Just like in Onechanbara 2, Aya’s younger sister Saki will be playable in Onechanbara Origin’s second half. New screenshots of her two playstyles were shown off earlier this week. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
After Aya defeats and frees Saki from the control of Eva, the mastermind behind everything that has happened, Saki was able to regain her own will. Together, they now work side-by-side in combat to find and take down Eva once and for all.
Saki’s true personality is that of a cheeky, impish sister who’s actually quite close with her sister.
Great Longsword Mode
Gameplay in the second half of Onechanbara Origin has players utilizing both Aya and Saki, and players are able to switch between them on the fly to continue combos as well. However, Saki has two different playstyles to keep in mind – Great Longsword Mode and Fists Mode.
With Great Longsword Mode, Saki uses centrifugal force to swing mighty slashes with her giant longsword. While these attacks are slow, they are also massively powerful, as expected of a former final boss.
Fists Mode
Saki can also utilize adept hand-to-hand combat skills in Fists Mode. This playstyle has Saki dealing many consecutive attacks, as well as several grappling moves.
Kicks
Saki’s kick move will differ depending on her current mode.
Jumping Power Bomb
German Suplex
Aya’s new costume
Aya will also get a new costume for the second half of Onechanbara Origin, based on her Onechanbara 2 costume.
Boss – Ubie
Onechanbara Origin releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 5, 2019.
