Atlus shared the latest  on Persona 5 Royal with The Morgana Report #5 that focuses more on the daily life parts that show new events and places to visit. We also have more Velvet Room features.

The first footage starts at around the 1:40 mark of the video, where we get to see more from the everyday lives of the other members. The game adds a variety of new events to further expand on the everyday and school parts. You’ll gather useful info and make encounters by checking out these new events, so they’re definitely worth doing.

Nakano and Shinagawa are some of the new spots. Confidants can also call you on the phone in the evenings after having spent some time together, so that means you’ll also get to strengthen your bond at night. Confidant abilities have also been revamped to be better than ever.

At the 6:15 mark of the video we get to see the new “Fusion Alarm” feature that allows you to create even more powerful Persona. Sometimes it doesn’t go as planned, but it gives you a chance to get something powerful you wouldn’t get otherwise.

There’s a lot more going on in the Velvet Room for Persona 5 Royal. For example, the new incense feature allows you to further train your Persona while the Challenge Battle mode allows you to take on challenging trials where you’ll get to aim for high scores and rare rewards. You’ll also get to go out with the Velvet Room twins, but it doesn’t seem too pleasant for the protagonist.

Here’s a video that mostly focuses on the new everyday life parts:
