Star Ocean: First Departure R For PS4 And Switch Gets First Screenshots And New Features

Square Enix is getting ready for TGS 2019 next month. On the page for the event over at the official website, they shared a first look at Star Ocean: First Departure R, the upcoming remaster of a remake on PS4 and Switch.

The high-definition remaster will come with new features and it’ll be fully-voiced with new recordings done by the cast of the original game.

Furthermore, the illustrations have also been redone. These new illustrations are based on the original designs, and players will get the option switch between the original and new illustrations.

Star Ocean: First Departure R is in development for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
