Last week, Capcom began sending Biohazard Ambassadors in Japan an email inviting them to participate in a test for a new Resident Evil game in September 2019. Now, emails are apparently going out to people who are a part of the US Resident Evil Ambassador program too. In the message, it states it is also a chance for people to test out an in-development game in September 2019. (Thanks, Patrick Copeland!)
While the Japanese Biohazard Ambassador event will be held in Shinjuku, Tokyo on September 8 and 9, 2019, there are more dates for the Resident Evil Ambassador event. On September 20 and 21, 2019, people in Los Angeles will be able to attend the event. On September 23 and 24, 2019, one will take part in New York. Capcom notes that if someone applies, they must be a member of the program and have played a Resident Evil game before. (You can sign up at this website.) Not everyone who applies will be picked, and those who are have to find their own way to one of the two cities for the event.
Capcom did not provide any details about what this Resident Evil game could be. All the email shared online noted is that it is “a new game in early development.”
The most recent Resident Evil game is Resident Evil 2. The remake is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
