Meet Misako, Kunio’s Girlfriend, In A New River City Girls Trailer

For a change of pace, the Kunio-kun series leads are the ones being kidnapped in River City Girls. Their girlfriends are being tapped in to save the day and rescue the duo. To help set the stage, WayForward has released a trailer focusing on one of the two heroines and her special moves. It’s Misako, Kunio’s girlfriend.

Misako uses some truly vicious punches in her River City Girls trailer. We see her making a great face in the introduction, fighting over food with Kyoko when the two are out with their boyfriends, and upgrading her skills. (High Kick, Hop Knee, Nutcracker, and Stone Hands are all shown in the Dojo.) We also get to see a clip of a cartoon cutscene, where Misako fervently tells her teacher, “You can’t silence love, Mr. Rudis! We’ll find whoever took our boyfriends and beat ‘em into the street!”
