Senran Kagura series creator Kenichiro Takaki is working with Marvelous, Kadokawa, and Egg Firm for a new multimedia project called Kandagawa Jet Girls. The developers announced during its “Pai no Hi” broadcast today that the anime will begin airing in Japan this October.

The characters are designed by Naruko Hanaharu. As for the staff behind the anime, TNK is handling the animation, with members who previously worked with Kenichiro Takaki on Valkyrie Drive as well as Queen’s Blade, including the director is Hiraku Kaneko.

No further information was shared about the game that is in development for PlayStation 4, but there was also a teaser for two guests set to appear from the Senran Kagura series, with not-Yumi and not-Asuka:
More information on the Kandagawa Jet Girls game for PS4 will be shared in September.
