Bandai Namco hasn’t said much about playable characters outside of Goku for the upcoming open-world action RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, but it’s been confirmed there there will be others including Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
Characters appear as playable and support characters. You can use Vegeta starting at Planet Namek. Vegeta, Piccolo, and Gohan will be available as playable and support characters. There will be an original story involving Gohan and Piccolo during their training.
As for the pure support characters we’ll see the likes of Chiaotzu, Tien Shinhan, Krillin, Yamcha, and such. Support characters take action based on what the players do, and you can also use command-based actions for them during battle. The support characters can help with follow-up attacks or by blocking attacks.
You’ll get to increase stats by eating and battling. There are all kinds of enemies, including some pirate robots that you’ll run into while taking on a base located in the sea.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2020.
