The Clumsy Shield User Wu-Ruixiang Makes An Impression In This Samurai Shodown Trailer

One of the three new characters in the latest Samurai Shodown, the Chinese shield user Wu-Ruixiang, is the latest character to get an introduction trailer.

Using her shield and several traps, Ruixiang is a formidable opponent despite her clumsiness. She serves the Qing dynasty, and is a descendant of an ancient feng shui clan that calls forth the power of the divine beasts.

Don’t let the cute exterior fool you, that shield hurts something fierce and the traps are something else entirely.

Samurai Shodown will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan on June 27, 2019 and in Q4 2019 for the Switch and PC. The game releases in North America and Europe on June 25, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A new demo releases in Japan on June 21, 2019.
