Chrono Trigger Takes Us Back In Time With An Original Soundtrack Revival Disc Trailer

Between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, the Chrono seris has shipped 5.5 million units with digital sales included since releasing in 1995. Revisit the classic SNES RPG in a trailer for the upcoming Soundtrack Revival Disc that was announced last month.

 

As previously detailed, the “revival” album lets you relive your memories with in-game scenes playing as a video with music from the original game. Also included are MP3 files of the music tracks so you can listen to it on  your laptop, smartphone, and more. The OST also comes with a booklet containing liner notes from composer Yasunori Mitsuda.

The Chrono Trigger Original Soundtrack Revival Disc is now available to pre-order in Japan at the Square Enix e-Store, Amazon Japan, Tower Records Online, Yodobashi, and Rakuten Books for 5,000 yen plus tax. It releases it releases on July 10, 2019.

 

It is also available to pre-order via the Square Enix Store in North America for $49.99 and in Europe for €39.99.

Chrono Trigger first released in Japan on March 11, 1995 for the Super Famicom. It has since then been ported to the PlayStation, Nintendo DS, iOS, Android, and PC.
