The classic SNES RPG Chrono Trigger just got the title of Famitsu readers’ #1 title of the Heisei era and Square Enix is giving it more love with an Original Soundtrack Revival Disc announced for July 10, 2019.

Similar to the other Original Soundtrack Revival Discs we’ve seen for Xenogears, SaGa 1, 2, 3, Final Fantasy IV, and more recently Final Fantasy VII, it is recored as a Blu-ray Disc Music album with over 60 songs with videos of iconic moments and memorable scenes to go with it.

MP3 formatted songs are also included so it has a traditional soundtrack minus the videos as well. The compsers

 

The Chrono Trigger Original Soundtrack Revival Disc is now available to pre-order in Japan at the Square Enix e-Store, Amazon Japan, Tower Records Online, Yodobashi, and Rakuten Books for 5,000 yen plus tax. It releases it releases on July 10, 2019.

 

Chrono Trigger first released in Japan on March 11, 1995 for the Super Famicom. It has since then been ported to the PlayStation, Nintendo DS, iOS, Android, and PC.
