The Xbox One and PC versions of Cuphead have been updated, bringing a lot of new features and fixes to the game. One of which is a character selection feature. Normally, someone playing Cuphead alone has to be Cuphead. However, after update 1.2 is applied, a single-player game will allow someone to choose between being Cuphead or his brother, Mugman.
This is also a major update in terms of art. All cinematics in the game are fully animated now, and other animations have been added. The Steam product listing details some of these new inclusions. Both Cuphead and Mugman have extra fight intros and other scenes, enemies, and characters have new animations.
New languages are available too. People can choose from English, French, Italian, German, European Spanish, Latin Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
If someone is playing Cuphead on the Nintendo Switch, they will already see all of these additions. They were included in that version of the game when it launched. However, on PCs, this update uses a newer version of Unity and, as such, all future add-ons and updates only work with DX11 Cuphead.
Cuphead is available for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
