A Phantom Thief is on the loose! On April 17, 2019, Persona 5‘s Joker will join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In addition, update 3.0 will arrive that same day, bringing the free Stage Builder, a Video Editor, and the Nintendo Switch Online application’ Smash World.

Persona 5‘s Joker is $5.99 alone and is a part of the $24.99 fighter pass. You get him, the Mementos stage, and some songs from Persona 3, 4, and 5 as new background music. Mementos’ color scheme changes, depending on which Persona song is playing. Also, the other members of the Phantom Thieves appear for Joker’s Final Smash attack. A clip from Smash World also shows Makoto will join the game as a new Spirit.

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Update 3.0 seems to focus on creating and sharing. Stage Builder will allow you to create custom stages by drawing designs, placing platforms and traps, and even drawing on the Nintendo Switch’s touch screen. Stages created here can be shared through Smash World, the Nintendo Switch Online app’s new service. Nintendo Switch Online can also be used to share videos made in the game, with the game’s new Video Editor allowing people to edit videos, as well as add subtitles and effects.
