Success’ official Twitter account has revealed two new details about Umihara Kawase Fresh! the latest installment in the physics-based platformer. First, there will be a demo for people to sample. Second, the full game will include a Time Attack mode.
Details about the Umihara Kawase Fresh! demo are slim at the moment. The official tweet confirmed that it is in development and asked people to please wait a moment for it to arrive.
The Time Attack mode was more detailed. People will be able to go through different challenges, competing for the best time. Each character, like Umihara or Cotton from Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams, will have their own leaderboard since they play differently. Also, people are unable to use cooked food to restore their health in this mode. (In the normal adventure, people will be able to collect ingredients and cook them to keep the Hunger and Thirst meters up, aiding in the main character’s survival.)

Umihara Kawase Fresh! will be released on the Nintendo Switch on April 25, 2019. It will be released digitally worldwide.
