During the February 2019 Nintendo Direct, a Daemon x Machina demo was revealed. The Daemon x Machina: Prototype Missions would allow people to create a character, go through some early missions, and experiment with customizing mechs. Now, we know this limited time trial will leave the eShop on March 11, 2019. (Thanks, Japanese Nintendo!)

The Japanese product page for Daemon x Machina notes the demo’s removal date on the bottom. It also reminds people progress does not carry over, so people don’t need to worry about missing a chance to get an early head start on the game. Since it is an offline experience, anyone who has already grabbed the free trial while it is available should have no problem playing it after the demo is removed from the eShop.

Daemon x Machina will launch in Summer 2019 for Nintendo Switch. The Prototype Missions demo will be available
