Back in December 2018, the NTT Solmare Story Jar @ Shall We Date? application began showing that the Otomate visual novels Beastmaster and Princes and Wand of Fortune would be localized. Now, we know how Beastmaster and Princes will start. The first English-language parts to be released will be the prologue and Matheus route.

This makes sense, in that Matheus is the eldest of the four princes of Fasan that were transformed into animals. He is the lion and a bit of a ladies’ man. He is also known for being honorable and very intelligent. In the console and handheld adaptations of the game, he’s voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa, who people may recognize as Akihiko in Persona 3, Marth in Super Smash Bros., and Soma Cruz in Castlevania.

Story Jar @ Shall We Date? is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Beastmaster and Princes was released as Moujuutsukai to Oujisama on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation Vita in Japan.
