Inti Creates had a bit of a surprise for the fans today, releasing an official music video of the theme of Dragon: Marked for Death in orchestra.

Here’s Inti Creates’ introduction to the music video:

Inti Creates is proud to reveal this behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Dragon Marked for Death’s extensive orchestrated soundtrack!

Dragon Marked for Death is set in on the continent of Remlia, where the scenery of 5 distinct countries color the soundtrack’s 77 songs.

To make sure that distinctive flavor was properly captured, Sound Director Ippo Yamada called on Recording Director Shota Nakama* to have orchestras in Boston, Prague, Kuala Lumpur, and Okinawa record the soundtrack simultaneously.

A glimpse of that recording process was captured on video for your viewing pleasure!

*Shota Nakama is the Producer of the Video Game Orchestra. Production company soundtrek was spun out of VGO, and were involved in recording for games such as “God Eater,” “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII,” and “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix.”
