The Dead or Alive 6 release date has been changed. Originally, the game was supposed to be released on February 15, 2019. However, it has been pushed back two weeks. Instead, the game will be released on March 1, 2019. The announcement was made on Twitter, and the official website now offers the update and an explanation as well.
An explanation from Yohei Shimbori, the Director and Producer for Dead or Alive 6, has been posted on official media channels. It notes that the extra two weeks will be spent polishing the game.
Here is Shimbori’s statement in full:
I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of Dead or Alive 6.
The title’s development is already near complete, however we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your additional patience, we commit to bringing you the best gaming experience we can.
Dead or Alive 6 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 1, 2019. Earlier today, another tweet on the official Twitter account hinted that a demo might be on the way.
