FuRyu’s Fuyuki Hayashi, the director and producer of the company’s latest action RPG Crystar, hinted as a possible Western release in his year-end ambitions for 2019 feature with 119 developers in this week’s Famitsu.

Keyword for 2019: “Headfirst”

Here’s Fuyuki Hayashi’s quote from the feature:

“In 2018 I managed to release my first very own original game Crystar. I’d like to go headfirst and keep the momentum going into 2019 so that we can announce and release a new title.”

In his recent report quote he said:

“While it’s been partially announced, we plan to release Crystar overseas. It’d make me happy to see many fans overseas get to play the game.”

It’s worth noting that Hayashi says “partially announced” as Crystar was announced in China with a Traditional Chinese version back in October where it’ll release sometime in the first half of 2019. With that being the partial announcement, we can expect the rest of it to be for the West sometime in the near future.

Crystar is available in Japan for PlayStation 4.
