Rumor: Atlus To Release Enhanced Version Of Persona 5 On Nintendo Switch

A new rumor has surfaced regarding Persona 5 coming to the Nintendo Switch, which is especially pertinent after the recent announcement of the main character Joker joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a DLC Fighter.

 

The information comes from Persona Central writer MysticDistance, who in a series of now-deleted Tweets stated that they “have it on good authority from multiple sources” in clear terms and with suitable evidence, that Persona 5 is coming to the Switch in 2019.

While they did not reveal the name or exact release window, MysticDistance said that a Switch version has been in consideration for quite some time since mid-2017, and will contain adjustments to the game, add new aspects to the scenario, amongst other requested additions. The enhanced version will also apparently be announced for Switch on the day Joker becomes playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

 

Previously, back in April 2017, MysticDistance discovered that a whole bunch of domains were registered by Atlus under “ryusoffice Corp, Inc.”. Potentially related to Persona 5 are the following domains:
