Last week in Japan, the 3DS dungeon crawler Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth made its premiere alongside a Rider Kick debut for Kamen Rider: Climax Scramble, Dead by Daylight on PS4, and more. Japanese sales tracker Media Create released the latest video game software and hardware sales data from the week of November 26 to December 2, 2018.

For the third week in a row, the #1 spot of the week goes to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee! with 94,753 units sold on the Nintendo Switch. They’re approaching the million-seller milestone in Japanese sales with a current total of 918,459. Next up at #2 is Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth with 79,747 units sold on 3DS. The first game, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth sold 186,856 units for 3DS in its debut in June 2014.

Next is Super Mario Party with 49,829 units sold for Switch to chart at #3. Battlefield V sold 20,116 units to take #4, and at #5 we have the next new entry with Kamen Rider: Climax Scramble with 14,465 units sold on the Nintendo Switch. The last Kamen Rider game was Kamen Rider: Climax Fighters for PS4 in December 2017 and it sold 21,971 units in its first week.

Starting December 6, Sony will drop the price of PS4 and PS VR bundles by 5,000 yen to 10,000 yen across various retailers just on time for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate the holiday season so you can expect to see higher numbers next week. As for the Nintendo Switch it sold 120,546 units in the week, which is about a 20 percent increase from the week prior, to make up about 78.5% of all hardware sales. Going by Media Create’s figures, the Nintendo Switch is currently at 5,751,707 units sold in Japan since its launch in March 3, 2017.
