Pokemon GO PVP is a feature that has been teased for a while by Niantic, as it would allow trainers to finally battle one another in the game. Now, the developer has released a first look at how matches may appear. One screenshot of a trainer in a match has been shared on Twitter.

There are no details or Pokemon shown in this Pokemon GO PVP screenshot. We just have a first-person view of a field with a trainer on the other end of it. The other trainer has an exclamation point over her head, perhaps suggesting the match is about to begin.

This Pokemon GO PVP image arrives just as the game celebrates one year of community days. This event has begun today and will end on December 2, 2018. People will see Beldum, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Dratini, Eevee, Larvitar, Mareep, Pikachu, and Squirtle appearing more often and with special moves from past Community Day 2018 events. People will also get double catch experience, double the Stardust from catching Pokemon, and will see Incubators be twice as effective during this period.

Pokemon GO is available for Android and Apple iOS devices.
