Fans of 07th Expansion and the Umineko series have something to look forward to this morning. The developer has released new videos for two of its upcoming visual novels, both of which are being translated by Witch Hunt’s ChronoTrig and Klashikari. The opening movie for Umineko no Naku Koro ni Saku, a collection of four games with a new scenario, and a teaser for Ciconia no Naku Koro ni, When the Ciconia Cry, the fifth When They Cry installment, are now available online. (Thanks, Klashikari!)

First, here is the Umineko no Naku Koro ni Saku opening movie. The four titles included in it are Legend of the Golden Witch, Turn of the Golden Witch, Banquet of the Golden Witch, and Alliance of the Golden Witch. Its theme song is “Shigorane no Empireo, Silver Empyrean” and is performed by Motoki Zakuro. Its description notes that choosing a 720p resolution may be necessary for some images.

Both Ciconia no Naku Koro ni, When the Ciconia Cry and Umineko no Naku Koro ni Saku will be released in Japan in Summer 2019. Klashikari noted on Twitter that Ciconia no Naku Koro ni is the priority, when it comes to translation, at the request of 07th Expansion President Ryukishi07. It is unknown when the English translations will be released.
