The second season of the Netflix Castlevania series began on October 26, 2018, but it turns out that will not be the end for the series. On Halloween 2018, the official Twitter account revealed a third season is in development. This works out well, as the second season ends on a cliffhanger.
A release date has yet to be announced for the third season of Castlevania. However, for a frame of reference, the four-episode first season was added to Netflix in July 2017 and eight-episode second season appeared this month.
Here is the teasing tweet revealing the next season.
Your response to season 2 truly brings a bloody tear to this ancient vampire’s eye. On this All Hallows’ Eve, it’s my honor to officially announce season 3! Without you, this never could have happened! #Castlevania

In the Netflix adaptation of Castlevania, viewers watch as Trevor Belmont (Richard Armitage), the last Belmont, faces off against Dracula (Graham McTavish). He is accompanied by Sypha Belnades (Alejandra Reynoso) and Alucard (James Callis). The second season also added Carmilla (Jaime Murray) and Hector (Theo James) to the cast as agents of Dracula.
The first two seasons of Netflix’s Castlevania are immediately available.
