Xseed is working on four Corpse Party PC localizations. The company will bring Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, Corpse Party: Blood Drive, Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash and Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient to computers. The first one to be released is Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, as the Steam product page says it will make its debut on October 29, 2018. (Thanks, Game Informer!)
Of these four games, two are already available in English. Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is a collection of eight side stories set before, during, and after Corpse Party. It was released on the PlayStation Portable in Japan in 2011 and in other regions in 2013. Corpse Party: Blood Drive is a direct sequel to Corpse Party that follows Ayumi Shinozaki as she attempts to use magic to bring the people lost in the original game back to life. It first appeared on the PlayStation Vita in 2014 in Japan and 2015 elsewhere, before heading to mobile devices worldwide in 2017.
Two of these games will be appearing in English for the first time on PCs. Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient is an entirely new installment that follows a young woman named Ayame after she wakes up in an abandoned hospital. We learned it would be heading westward at E3 2018. Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko’s Hysteric Birthday Bash is a romantic comedy visual novel spin-off that originally appeared on the PlayStation Portable in Japan in 2012. The victims from the Corpse Party series must keep Sachiko happy in different scenarios.
Currently, the only Corpse Party game immediately available on the PC is the original game.
