Bandai Namco shared the first gameplay footage of Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization on Nintendo Switch, and we got a glimpse at its new Joy-Con controls option in motion. [Thanks, Gamestalk.]

Here’s a look at some of the footage shared during the Dengeki Bunko 25th Anniversary Fall Festival:

The Joy-Con motion controls is a new feature that is being made for the Switch version of the game, where you simply swing the Joy-Cons to perform action. You can swing the Joy-Con multiple times to perform skills and so on. The developers wanted to add this function in order to offer a new way of playing, so that it has something more than what’s already available in the PS Vita version.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC. It is in development for Nintendo Switch, and it’ll also release in the West.
