Warriors Orochi 4 producer Masaki Furusawa revealed at ACGHK 2018 that the game would have a 3v3 multiplayer mode, and Koei Tecmo has finally released details in the form of a gameplay video that shows off how battles in this online mode is conducted.
The game’s online versus mode has the 3 players on each team trying to take control of three bases scattered across the map. Capturing bases is done by running up to the base and standing still for around 15-20 seconds. Some of the special moves in this mode will have special effects like sending enemies hit by it back to the spawn point.
Each player can swap between two officers, and as each character has their own life bar, managing your health will be one of the strategic parts of the online mode.

Warriors Orochi 4 releases in Japan on September 27, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game releases in North America on October 16, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam worldwide.
