In addition to updated graphics, The World Ends With You: Final Remix adds several new features exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version with motion controls, co-op gameplay, and more.

Here’s a look at some new off-screen footage from PAX West 2018, courtesy GameSpot:

In the gameplay footage we get to see all the new ways to play The World Ends With You on Switch. As for the co-op mode, two players can play cooperatively using two Joy-Cons. Instead of using the stylus or touchscreen as done in previous versions of the game, you can use the Joy-Con motion to perform patterns to activate the Pychs while fighting Noise.

The World Ends With You launches in Japan on September 27, 2018 for Nintendo Switch. The game releases in the West in October 12, 2018. You can check out more gameplay details as well as info on its new post-game scenario in our previous report.
